Introduction:
As Summer comes to a close, we’d like to share the incredible experiences we’ve had this year. Our team has been busy providing unique and memorable structures for various events, festivals, and weddings. From Download Festival to Glastonbury and beyond, we’ve been bringing the magic of alternative timber structures to life. Let’s dive into the highlights of these amazing ventures.
Download Festival:
One of the thrilling events we participated in was the renowned Download Festival. Known for its incredible music line-up, we supplied a range of tipis that added a touch of whimsy to the festival camping experience. Guests were able to immerse themselves in the festival’s atmosphere while enjoying the comfort and unique charm provided by our tipis.
Glastonbury Festival:
Another prestigious event that saw our participation was the legendary Glastonbury Festival. Set in the stunning Glade Area, we were thrilled to provide a timber geodome and a selection of tipis. The timber geodome became a distinctive focal point, captivating festivalgoers who sought a one-of-a-kind experience. Our tipis provided comfortable and stylish accommodations for those who wanted to embrace the festival spirit and enjoy a unique camping experience.
Urdd Eisteddfod:
A highlight of our recent ventures was the successful completion of the Urdd Eisteddfod. We provided a 15m dome stage, stretch tents, and a red stretch tent allocated for an LGBTQ+ area. Our goal was to ensure that everyone felt welcome and represented within the event’s vibrant atmosphere. The variety of accommodations, including tipis, added an extra layer of charm to the festivities, leaving participants with lasting memories.
Llangollen International Eisteddfod:
Further showcasing our commitment to creating memorable occasions, we had the privilege of contributing to the Llangollen International Eisteddfod. Our team provided a black stretch stage that exuded elegance and sophistication. Numerous red stretch tents dotted the event grounds, adding a pop of colour and a cosy ambience. Additionally, we had the pleasure of creating magical settings for several breath-taking weddings, combining our stretch tents and tipis to make these celebrations truly enchanting.
Car Fest:
The biggest build of the year for us and on a Bank Holiday! Providing structures across the VIP, Family and Friends area and the Bar areas, our team persevered, building through the week leading up to the live date.
Conclusion:
As we reflect upon these extraordinary events we are humbled by the opportunity to be part of such incredible experiences. I think we can all agree that in terms of weather, we haven’t had the best Summer. This has posed challenges for us, and I’m sure every marquee company has experienced these challenges. Getting tents stuck in waterlogged land has sure been an adventure! But we got through it and have met some incredible people along the way this year. From Download Festival to Glastonbury, the Urdd Eisteddfod, and the Llangollen International Eisteddfod, we have worked tirelessly to provide a space that enhances the atmosphere and creates lasting memories for all involved. We are grateful for the trust placed in us to bring our unique touch to these occasions and look forward to creating more magic as Winter approaches.
