Event in a Tent Ltd was established in 2010 and is a leading supplier of Tipis, Stretch Tents,

and Geo Domes across the UK for all events, from festivals to weddings.

We are looking for proactive, hardworking and confident people to join of friendly and

experienced team, leading our crews in setting up our range temporary structures.

It is essential that you are hardworking and willing to work long hours, outdoors in all

weathers, and are aware this is a physically demanding role.

You do not need to have worked in the industry before, as full training will be provided but it

is advantageous. You must be confident and able to support and motivate a crew of

between 2-6 people.

Hours can vary, and can regularly exceed 37.5 hours per week, including some weekend

work when required. Work can be across the UK and may require stay overs away from

home – accommodation and meals will be paid for by the company.

If you are motivated, outgoing, reliable and presentable person with a full clean driving

licence, excellent communication skills, initiative and the ability to think on your feet we

want to hear from you.

Primary Duties Include:

• Support the Crew Leader and crew in setting up and dismantling a range of

temporary structures, safely and efficiently

• Leading on de-rigs and smaller installs once embedded in the role

• Communicating with clients

• Be responsible for onsite safety and following company procedures.

• Driving company vehicles to and from site

• Other misc. duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Job Type: Full-time, temporary contract

Salary: £13.50 – £14.20 per hour (dependant on experience)

Successful applicants will need to have a good level of physical fitness, enjoy working

outdoors no matter the weather, and be presentable and reliable, with good communication

skills and the ability to think on their feet. They will also be able to show initiative and work

as part of a friendly and focused team.

Hours vary, and can often exceed 48 hours per week, including weekend work when

required. Some work may require staying away from home – accommodation and meals will

be paid for by the company.

Primary Duties Include:

• Setting up and dismantling our range of Domes, tipis and other structures, safely and

efficiently

• Assist with loading, unloading, and storing stock.

• Picking stock and loading vehicles accurately ready for events

• Maintenance of stock, including cleaning, fixing and repairs

• Warehouse and yard work

• Driving company vehicles to and from site

• Other misc. duties as assigned.
