With peak season fast approaching and evenings getting lighter, we’re all anticipating wedding season! For this month’s blog, we wanted to feature one of our favourite weddings. There is so much love shown in this day and every detail of the planning is completely bespoke to who they are as a couple.

Vicky and Bruce came to us looking for tipis for their July wedding. They’d certainly done their research and had a very clear vision of what they wanted their day to look like. They went for two large Stratus 72 tipis with a medium Cirrus40 tipi joined to create one open space for 90 guests. Added to this was a catering tent along with a gorgeous honeymoon bell tent.

Inside the tipis, Vicky and Bruce opted for an upgraded parkan lighting kit with warm white fairy lights spiraling around the poles throughout. For their tables, they chose rounds with our wooden chairs. On the top table they opted for INCREDIBLE peacock chairs which created a real “wow” factor and really tied in with everything else in the room. The whole space was adorned with bright flower bombs, blue China vases, candles and ivy foliage.

Outside the tipis, the excitement and imagination definitely didn’t stop. In terms of lighting, our couple chose to have festoon lighting across each peak of the tipis, as well as creating a coir matting, festoon-lit walkway which stretched 40m to the entrance of the tipis. Next to their tipi wedding venue, they had hay bales circling a fire pit for guests to get warm in the summer evening while sipping a drink or three from the shepherd’s hut bar before heading over to the wood-fired pizza van.

Every single element had their personalities shining through it and all in all created an insanely beautiful, fun, full-of-love day for themselves, their family and friends.
